Through my son and my husband, I have been part of UFAF for 13 years. I have watched both Tyler and Brett (my husband) go from White belt to Black belt. As my son, Tyler started young, I watched the respect, and discipline that Karate with Chun Kuk Do/ UFAF instilled in my son. Through these years, I knew that Brett would want to open a studio. So, when we moved to NC from Arizona 3 years ago, a door was opened for us to open the studio, and give back to others what our family has enjoyed. UFAF is a karate family. And we hope that we will be a family to the people that walk through the doors of Inner Banks Karate. We are fair in the price, so that many can enjoy the benefits that karate has offered our family. Our son is a young adult who has been attending the Inner Banks Karate program for 2 years. He has a right side weakness and the karate training has been invaluable in developing his balance and strengh as well as focus. The karate sensei, Brett Shaul and his son have been very supportive in their instruction and the family atmosphere of the studio is another plus.
